How to monetize your blog 2017?

I really don’t like Google Adsense, their policy is too agitating to me, I prefer going for affiliate marketing, hiring services and selling advert space on my blog than to choose to apply for google adsense. Though, I have been looking for a way to monetize my site from the beginning with Nigeria ads networks. So many people advised me to use Nairapp then, Nairapp disappeared I really don’t know why.
I was able to have discovered this ads network displaying on a friend’s blog and I love their concept, you can get cash out of as low as  NGN2,000 weekly from NGadverts.

I was able to gather the fact that NG adverts is a CPC/PPC network on like Google Adsense that pays for impressions. Ng adverts pay for every click generated from your website/blog and have no time for the impressions sent from your site.

Things I discovered before signing up for NGadverts
The following under listed are what made me sign up for NG adverts.
  1. High CPC: NG adverts pay as high as N40/click and above which means is only advertisers who bid more that NGadverts will ensure they display ads on publishers sites.
  2. Revenue Share: NG Adverts ensure publishers earn more than themselves which means you earn 70% of the advertiser’s bid the policy is 70/30%. This is the best lucrative opportunity to make more money from this ads network.
  3. How you get paid: NG adverts is not a paid per impression (PPM neither is it a pay per action (PPA) rather a pay per click/cost per click (PPC/CPC)
  4. Account type: You can either chose to register as an advertiser, publisher or both.
  5. Ads Units: Publishers are required to create every ads unit separately. This means that if you use the same ads unit twice on a page one will display ads while the other will not. On like Google Adsense that you can use one ads unit on the same page several times.
  6. Targeting: They have a geological targeting for advertisers choice
These are some of the things I was able to gather about them and I discovered they are good and can be trusted.
Click Here To Join NG Adverts

How to register in NGAdverts
I now you will love to start monetizing your blog right away. So, follow my lead to sign up. Follow these simple steps
  1. Visit the Sign-Up page
  2. Enter your information as appropriate
  3. Confirm your email
  4. Add your site/wait for approval which usually takes up to 1 hour
  5. Create your first ads code and place on your site

You can sign up as a Publisher, Advertisers or Both

How to build your own Brand in 6 amazing steps

Everyone loves to have a Branded name for their business, blog and so on. Not everyone know what it take to achieve all this; building your own brand, growing it and becoming a successful branded owner of the products or services you are branding. Through this post we know what it takes to build a brand from scratch, growing the brand and being successful.

What Exactly Is a “Brand”?
When talking about brand, many people have their own perspective about it. A brand isn’t just a recognizable name and logo that distinguishes you in a crowded market.
Your brand is how people perceive you wherever they interact with your business—both the impressions you can control and the ones you can't. We each have a name, a face, a style, a way of communicating, different impressions we make on different people, and what they say about us when we’re not in the room.

Note: Brand isn’t only referred to product & services, it also include a blog or site base on a particular niche.
You can't build a brand without being consistent and maintaining that consistency as you extend your brand to every part of your business. Branded businesses have names, products, logos, colors, fonts, a language, and reputations to manage that make up who they are and affect how they’re perceived. But it all starts with establishing what that consistency is going to look like and the feeling you want it to evoke.

How to Build a Brand
Build your own brand in 6 steps:
  1. Research your target audience and your competitors.
  2. Pick your focus and personality.
  3. Choose your business name.
  4. Write your slogan.
  5. Choose the look of your brand (colors and font)
  6. Design your logo.
It's important that you consider each aspect as you shape your brand identity.
Let’s start with laying the groundwork to inform the way you go about building your brand.

1. Place in the Market For your Brand
Before you start making any decisions about your brand, you need to understand the current market: who your potential customers, what do they make up of and who your competitors are.
There are many ways to do this:
  • Google your product or service category and analyze direct and indirect competitors that come up.
  • Talk to people who are part of your target market and ask them what brands they buy from in your space.
  • Look at the relevant social media accounts or pages your target audience follows and are receptive to.
2. Define Your Brand’s Focus and Personality
When just starting your brand business, don’t expect your brand to solve every problems in the market at a goal, it takes time. There are so many tough path in achieving this.
It’s important to find your focus and let that inform all the other parts of your brand as you build it.

3. Design Your Logo
A logo is probably one of the first things that come to mind when you think about building a brand. And for good reason. It's the face of your company after all, and could potentially be everywhere that your brand exists.

To make your life easier, get a square version of your logo that has an icon element that remains recognizable even at smaller sizes.
The following are some of the different logo types you can choose to help you communicate with designers and find a style that makes sense for your brand. Keep the colors and fonts you chose in mind to make sure they work together with your logo to convey your brand.

4. Choose a Business Name
Depending on the kind of business you want to start, you can make the case that your name matters very little or it matters a lot. The personality, actions, and reputation of your brand are really what give the name meaning in the market.
As a business owner, your company's name is probably one of the first big commitments you have to make. It’ll impact your logo, your domain, your marketing, and trademark registration. If you have any plans to expand the product lines you offer down the road, consider keeping your business name broad so that it's easier to pivot than if you chose a brand name based on your product name.
Since your brand name will also affect the domain/URL of your website, be sure to shop around to see what’s available before you decide. It's also a good idea to run your name by a focus group of close people, if for no other reason than to make sure it doesn't have an unintended meaning or is too similar to something else that you might've missed.

5. Write a Slogan
A catchy slogan is a very-nice-to-have asset—something brief and descriptive that you can put in your Twitter bio, website headline, business card, and anywhere else where you've got very few words to make a big impact.
Keep in mind that you can always change your slogan as you find new angles for marketing. A good slogan is short, catchy, and makes a strong impression. Here are some ways to approach writing a slogan of your own:

In conclusion, Picking Your Brand’s Colors and Fonts
This aspect is also very important; you need to have your personal colour & fonts. Once you've got a name down, you'll need to think about how you'll visually represent your brand, namely your colors and typography. This will come in handy when you start to build your website.

I know that you put this into consideration when planning to setup your branded business from scratch. What extra point did we opt out that you were expecting to be discussed? Drop your comment and get answered immediately.

How To read your customers & clients mind?

How well do you know your audience, customers and clients?
Knowing your audience is one of the most important part of growing your business and blog. If you are very vast with company way of things, they tend to get to know who makes up their customer, audience and clients. How do they do this? You’ll be able to create better online shopping experiences for your customers and build more targeted marketing campaigns that expand your influence and help you reach your ideal want and needs.

This post has been well nourished with information that will help you know your customers/audience, know what they what from you & how to read their mind. We’ll also take a look at how you can analyze the results of your survey to anticipate the needs of your audience/customers and design the products and services that they actually want.

You’ll never find out how your customers really feel unless you ask.
Let’s find out what your customers are really thinking.

Creating Successful Survey
Survey has been a good way some companies/Organization use in knowing their clients, customers and audiences. Before you setup a survey you need to analyse your customers so as to know what questions to ask.

Point 1.
Every question in your survey should act as a puzzle piece, helping you gain a more thorough understanding of how you can serve your customers better one step at a time. Your survey should be built around accomplishing a single goal and use focused set of questions, for it will produce higher quality results that are easier to analyze and put into action.

Also Read: Why Choose a Branded name of your Business & Blog
Point 2.
Your audience/clients makes up of different types and categories of people. Determine whether you’re going to be collecting data from your entire list, new customers, long term clients, etc. and then keep that in mind while you’re putting together a set of questions.

The Right Questions to ask
When aiming to take a general pulse of how your customers feel about your business, it can be as easy as asking these three questions:
  • What services do you love?
  • What are we doing that you like?
  • What could we be doing better?
  • What would you like to see us offer?
Getting answers to these questions, can gather a wealth of data that will help you improve your business & Blog. You’ll be able to discover your audience/customer’s pain points and favourite features as well as get ideas for future products and services to offer/introduce.
Another great option for getting customer feedback quickly and easily is by putting together embeddable one-click surveys online form.
The questions that you ask are going to depend on what you’re hoping to achieve, but they should always follow a few general rules. Here are some things to keep in mind:

1. Ask simple question
Your questions need to be as simple as possible to ensure that you’re getting results you can actually use. Be straightforward - if you’re looking for an opinion on a particular product or services, ask about it specifically - and make sure that you’re only asking one question at a time.
An overcomplicated question can seem like way too much effort and discourage audience/customers from participating, so keep it short, sweet and fun.

2. Ask Closed And Open-Ended Questions
Closed-ended questions with yes/no, multiple choice, and scaled answers can be great for collecting demographic data, but your most fascinating insights will probably come from asking open-ended questions. Think about it this way: Use closed-ended questions when you’re looking for a specific response and open-ended questions when you want general feedback or suggestions.

3. Goal-Oriented
When asking your audience/customers questions there should be a purpose in mind. Think about the central challenge that you’re trying to overcome with your survey and brainstorm questions that can help you get the data you need to be successful.
Give your customers lots of opportunities to share how they really feel about your business and products. What they have to say may surprise you!

4. Use Neutral Language
Try to keep your wording as neutral as possible and avoid any emotional language or value statements about your business, products, or customers. Use Simple English Language, low level grammar but correct English.

You should also avoid making assumptions about your customers’ experiences. Don’t say things like: “We’ve recently made this tool better…” and “We know our customers love our new features…” - the less biased a question, the more valuable the response.

Writing Your Email
Now that you’ve created your survey, it’s time to write a well-tailored email to deliver it to your customers.

Subject Line
Every great email starts with a compelling subject line. Your subject line should be succinct while also accurately describing the contents of your email. This part will definitely take a bit of creativity since you need to be able to catch your audience’s attention and make them actually want to open your email.

Personalization
Start the email off by introducing yourself and letting your customers know exactly why you’re conducting the survey. Being transparent with them will not only help your customers contextualize your questions, but it will also give them a real reason to give you a hand.
To help nudge your customers along, you should also remind them of any recent success that they’ve had with your product. Whether they’ve just hit a milestone or made a new purchase, you need to keep the value that your business adds to their lives at the top of their minds.

Delivery
Unless you’re only targeting a small segment of your audience, you’ll definitely want to use email automation to make sending out your survey more efficient. Platforms like Viro and MailChimp are great for sending out large batches of targeted emails.
Another important factor to consider is the timing of your email, for those who make use of Blog, their audience are from different countries. You’ll have to experiment and pay attention to your customers.
Before sending your emails out, be sure to double-check that they’re mobile-friendly. Responsiveness has become a crucial part of email design, since lots of your audience makes use of Mobile mostly. Test-run your email on smartphones and tablets to make sure that it’ll show up properly for your customers, regardless of which device they’re using.

Putting Your Data Into Action
Once the responses have poured in from your survey, you’ll be able to take that raw data and put it to good use.

Staying organized should be a top priority for you when you’re compiling the results of your survey.
After you’ve compiled your results, look for trends in the data. Keep an eye out for common responses and don’t be afraid of your customers having something negative to say about your business. In the long run it’s the negative replies is what you mainly be walking on more.
Now that you’ve collected and analyzed your data, you should have a clearer idea of what you need to improve on and what you could be doing to fine-tune your business& Blog. If you end up implementing changes inspired by the results of your survey, let your customers know ahead of time, they’ll appreciate that their opinions have not only been heard, but also used to make things better.

Conclusion
With a carefully crafted customer satisfaction survey, you’ll finally have the insights you need to create a more convenient and efficient shopping experience for your customers.
If you have any more questions about understanding your audience, we’d love to help you out! Let us know in the comments below.

Choose your blog domain (www.YourBlog.com) E.g. (www.bloggersgist.com)

Before you go any further in choosing domain name.
Your domain name is important because of the following;
  • It’s your “first impression” to website visitors (traffic)
  • It affects SEO (which is Search Engine)
  • It defines your brand (what you do, the business you are into & what you sell or buy)
With that in mind, you should put some careful thought into your domain name.
Few tips to consider in choosing your domain name
  • Branded for your Business: A brandable domain name is unique and stands out from the competition, while a unbranded domain name is usually stuffed with keywords and unmemorable.

  • Keep it concise. According to research from magazine for entrepreneurs, the top-5 websites have approximately 6 or 7 characters in their domain name. wow! You see that, 5, 6, 7 characters for a domain. Look at (Naij) it has just 4 characters.

  • Easy to pronounce. Your domain name should be very easy to pronounce, it should easily roll off the tips of your fingers and the tips of your tongue without any problem.

If you don’t have a domain name yet, go with Whogohost, BlueHost, Godaddy, and 1and1. They’re currently offering free domain names for anyone who signs up with their host.

Bloggers and their relationship life

Everyday there are new bloggers threading to the blogging would, many of them scale through and jumping into the mess of blogging within a snap of caramer light. Even two years old baby now want to own a blog, make money from it, turn the blog into money making blog in one night.
Ever since blogging take 75% of my time, I create fewer avenues for relationship with ladies. I thought I was the only one. A relationship female blogger on face name (Nancy Chuks) said this on her facebook status 20th of June, 2017 “As a guy, the first you should find is your purpose then find a lady who fits into that. Realized where you are going first” for a time this got me thinking.
I do follow so many bloggers post on facebook, jokenly they face trival issue patterning love life.

Abdulmumeen A Olagold
(A blogger) said “Before she could be my girlfriend, she will have knowledge of coding, html, xml, xhtml and should be a computer guru”. This is a human being that happens to be a blogger, needs all this, as Nancy Chuks said “find a purpose first, later find a lady that fits” then how long will it takes Abdul to find a lady that posseses such attribute. Even if there has to be a lady that suite him, I guess they won’t base in his country.

Mathias Amodu's Profile Photo, Image may contain: 1 person, standingA boss in blogging named Mathias Amodu is also hit in love affair, is current post as at today 30th of June, 2017 show that he struggles between love and blogging. I quote is statement in is post [” When the say LOVE is magical Now I truly believe😀 OK how will you be with a female or male friend for about 3-4 years either in your office, same faculty at school or even in the market but one day the Magical just enter your head and you turn MC. Please what is the cause of this magical thing? I want to know cause me I want to do mine like "Merlin" Aunty Nancy Chuks and Mama Jovial Mum come explain "]. If a boss in blogging can also have such trouble in love and relationship then what in for other bloggers. It takes a hard time searching for a fit in your purpose.

This entire headache just in one night, I create a blog, write contents like hell. Try been a nice guy, create business opportunity so people can benefit from the headache of marketing, blogging and business tips at large. What is due to a relationship, having emotional feelings? All I say whenever she calls, I do say ‘am busy’.

In conclusion, bloggers do face tough time keeping or sticking to relationship and also blogging at the same time. What is your remark? is the same thing you face as a blogger? Comments
